Danielle Kelli Fleming is a Certified Behavioral Therapist who specializes in the human psychological response to scent.  While studying psychology at the Bachelor's and Master's levels, she has found fascinating relationships between the mind and scent, specifically how scent has the power to enhance one’s mood and behaviors.

“The combining of psychology and the olfactory system is the perfect unity of art and science.  It is a very sophisticated process.  All scents create a specific memory thus inducing a mood or behavioral response.  These responses can be enhancing to one’s mood, therefore resulting in a behavioral change. This goes beyond aromatherapy, delving deeper into the science of scent stimulus and how it results in psychological responses in people.” 

In 2002, Danielle took a "hands-on" approach to her attraction to scent, and began making handmade scented bath and body care products with the singular goal of enhancing the bathing experience. Through her scent and behavioral response work,  Danielle has developed a patent-pending system that categorizes scents by five main moods or effects: Focus, Elevate, Relax, Balance and Sensual.  Now, thanks to Danielle, anyone can transform their ordinary daily bathing regimen into countless Essential Experiences for the mind and body.
